Cashier/Store Clerk Oak Tree Wine & Spirits 1305 Gold Star Highway, Groton, CT 06340 We are looking for a full-time Cashier who enjoys working with the public and has a friendly, outgoing personality. As a team-oriented company, we seek an individual who can be flexible with work hours. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and displays a positive attitude when interacting with customers and employees. As an employee you will be expected to stock shelves and arrange product as needed. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately. Stock shelves and ensure products are well-organized and displayed attractively. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store environment. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall shopping experience. Qualifications Strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers Experience in retail sales and stocking merchandise Basic math skills and familiarity with retail math Knowledge of grocery store operations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Bilingual candidates are preferred, and supervisory experience is a plus

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$16.50 – $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
