In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers with their purchases, manage inventory, and contribute to achieving sales goals through effective communication and product knowledge. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with restocking as needed. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding. Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store. Adhere to company policies regarding phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone. Perform basic retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Basic understanding of retail math concepts for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
