Dania Beach, FL 33004 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and will be responsible for ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store’s positive atmosphere while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Duties Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies. Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining the cleanliness of the checkout area. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store. Participate in product demonstrations and promotions as needed to enhance customer engagement. Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Experience with product demos is beneficial but not required.
