Summary As a Sales Associate at Vision Source, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient experiences through exceptional service and product knowledge. This position is essential for ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care and the best optical solutions tailored to their needs. Responsibilities Educate patients about various optical products and services available. Assist patients in selecting frames and lens options tailored to prescription, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences Accurately interpret prescriptions and take precise optical measurements Dispense, adjust, and repair eyewear with attention to fit and comfort Maintain optical inventory and help manage frame boards Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage Verify and explain vision insurance benefits (VSP, Eyemed, etc.) Submit insurance authorizations and process claims as needed Coordinate with the optometrist and staff to ensure smooth office workflow Utilize retail math to manage inventory and assist with sales transactions. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve patient satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in retail or sales, preferably in an optical or healthcare setting. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a busy setting Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a passion for helping others Basic knowledge of optical products and services is preferred but not required. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
