In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with sales, manage inventory, and maintain the overall appearance of the store. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance the customer experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an appealing store layout. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies. Utilize basic math skills to process sales transactions and provide change to customers. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sales floors and stock areas. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively.
