Job Description

  • Operations Transformation Leader
  • The Operations Transformation Leader will provide business leadership for all transformation efforts within the business unit.

Responsibilities include oversight of existing remediation work, identification of existing processes that can be simplified, as well as managing operational readiness as it relates to the role out of changes to roles, responsibilities, process design, and control frameworks.

  • Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • + Executes Operational and Strategic Initiatives and responsible for change management initiatives and user adoption within the team.

+ Manages risk and enhances the control environment for the department. + Provides regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and development. + Assesses the current state operating model and develops a plan to standardize and centralize processes that will create scalability and enhance the current control environment. + Partners with technology to deliver modern tools and platforms that will enable the business to achieve its strategic goals. + Responsible for overall coordination, management, and tracking of the operational readiness elements of process and technology implementation as it relates to transformation. + Identifies, documents, tracks, and resolves issues within operations. + Creates a data driven management culture by partnering with our technology and reporting teams to ensure operations management have the tools needed to make data driven decisions. + Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation and development of team.

  • Strategic Transformation & Leadership
  • + Drive end-to-end transformation initiatives within retail banking to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and profitability. + Align transformation efforts with enterprise goals and regulatory expectations, ensuring sustainable, long-term impact.
  • Project Management
  • + Lead and manage complex, cross-functional projects from ideation to execution, adhering to timelines, scope, and budget. + Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to deliver successful transformation initiatives.
  • Deposit Growth Strategy
  • + Support and execute innovative deposit growth strategies leveraging customer insights, market trends, and competitive positioning. + Collaborate with product, marketing, and branch teams to optimize deposit acquisition and retention.
  • Product Delivery & Enhancement
  • + Support the design, development, and rollout of retail banking products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market opportunities. + Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely product updates and enhancements.
  • Deposit Pricing Optimization
  • + Support and manage deposit pricing strategies to balance profitability, market competitiveness, and balance sheet health. + Utilize analytics and competitive intelligence to recommend pricing changes and promotional strategies.
  • Risk Mitigation & Regulatory Compliance
  • + Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, compliance, and strategic risks associated with transformation projects and product delivery. + Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls, partnering closely with Risk and Compliance teams.
  • Audit & Governance
  • + Support audit readiness and response efforts, ensuring full transparency and documentation of processes and controls. + Support internal and external audit activities with appropriate evidence and follow-through on remediation plans.
  • Executive Reporting & Presentations
  • + Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations to senior executives and board committees, summarizing strategy, progress, risk, and performance metrics. + Serve as a key liaison between transformation teams and executive leadership.
  • Marketing Strategy Review
  • + Collaborate with marketing to review and optimize campaign strategies supporting deposit growth, product awareness, and customer engagement. + Ensure consistency of messaging and brand alignment across transformation initiatives.
  • Training Rollout
  • + Support and coordinate training programs to support system, process, and product changes resulting from transformation projects. + Ensure branch and back-office staff are well-equipped to support new products, pricing, and service standards.
  • Systems & Technology Integration
  • + Lead Retail integration of new technology platforms and tools to support digital banking, data analytics, and customer service enhancements. + Partner with IT and vendors to ensure seamless implementation, system stability, and data integrity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
  • + Foster cross-functional collaboration and buy-in across business lines, ensuring smooth adoption of transformation initiatives. + Develop and execute change management strategies to support cultural and operational shifts.
