What you’ll be doing day to day As a Retail Sales Co-Worker, enhancing the shopping experience and attentive customer service to consistently boost sales, you will: Proactively engage customers in need of assistance, accurately identify their requirements through insightful questioning, and recommend optimal home solutions. Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, Introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels. Keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked. Express enthusiasm for IKEA products by consistently expanding knowledge of their features and benefits. Share this expertise with customers to guide their decision-making, ultimately enriching their shopping experience. Understand the store and department action plans. Actively contribute to achieving your department’s goals. Implement, maintain and change out Add-Ons throughout the store, as needed, to help achieve sales volume, conversion and Gross Margin goals, and promote vitality. Optimize sales and maintain profitability by guiding customers toward high-priority and best-selling products. Demonstrate the ability to analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters (sales location management) to secure high stock availability. Support the implementation and upkeep of planned commercial activities in, or involving, your range. Develop specialized knowledge through training to be able to sell and plan basic modular furniture solutions. QUALIFICATIONS
