Retail Associate The Mill Bar + Package Cantonment, FL 32533 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will play a vital role in driving sales and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Engage customers by providing product demonstrations and showcasing features and benefits. Process transactions accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and conducting inventory checks. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally. Assist in creating visually appealing product displays to enhance the shopping experience. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic knowledge of retail math to assist with pricing and inventory management. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers or POS systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about products and sales techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
