Pensacola, FL 32534 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchasing decisions, and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong commitment to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable recommendations and answer customer inquiries regarding merchandise. Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently while processing transactions accurately. Maintain store presentation by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the sales floor. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking items as needed to ensure product availability. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations. Experience with cash registers or POS systems is preferred. Knowledge of retail math concepts is beneficial for inventory management. Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is a plus.
