The ideal candidate for this position has a proven track record in producing consistent results in an independent role. No prior experience is necessary for this position. We train all new hires.
What to expect:
A community will see you as the figure of authority for their swimming pool as you will be responsible for signing in guests, enforcing rules, and maintaining cleanliness. From the time you arrive to the time you leave; you are the sole supervisory figure of the pool so you must be someone who has a high level of integrity and attention to detail. You must be someone who can perform well under stress as there may be times when conflicts could arise as a result of your enforcement of rules.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent. Experience in customer service and customer facing positions. If tattoos are visible, the applicant must have the ability to cover them if on head, face, neck, hands, or deemed offensive. No excessive facial piercings on cheeks, eyebrows, lips, or nose. Ability to pass pre-employment criminal and employment history screening No more than 4 jobs in the past 2 years Access to reliable transportation and/or personal vehicle. Proficient in English and can read/write in English Can work outside for extended periods of time with ranging temperatures and weather. •Shade can be expected for most of the shift•. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to guests at the pool area, ensuring a welcoming environment. Monitor pool activities to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Engage with guests, offering information about amenities and events. Handle conflicts and guest concerns with professionalism and poise. Maintain cleanliness in the pool area. Qualifications Strong customer service and guest service skills Ability to manage events and handle conflicts effectively Relevant experience with children and public speaking is a plus Background in food service, hospitality, or resort environments is beneficial No prior experience required; training will be provided
