Job Summary:
We are seeking a personable, reliable, and customer-focused Pro Shop Associate to join the team at our sporting clay facility. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests, assisting with check-ins, sales, equipment rentals, and general customer service. You’ll help create an outstanding experience for our visitors by ensuring the pro shop is organized, stocked, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner Process customer check-ins and range reservations Operate point-of-sale (POS) system for purchases, rentals, and memberships Provide information about shooting events, facility rules, and safety protocols Manage and maintain inventory of merchandise, ammunition, and gear Assist with rental equipment check-out/check-in Ensure the pro shop is clean, organized, and fully stocked Handle customer questions with professionalism Support facility operations as needed, including helping with events or range setup
Qualifications:
Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Familiarity with sporting clays, firearms, or outdoor recreation is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Basic math and computer skills for handling transactions and inventory Must be at least 18 years old
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Comfortable working both indoors and occasionally outdoors
