Retail Furniture Associate (Part Time) Posh Plum Furniture 24821 South Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic furniture store environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. This role involves assisting customers, managing consigning of furniture, and promoting products, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs. Maintain an organized and clean showroom floor. Able to move furniture around and staging of the showroom (up to 40lbs). Sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable items. Collaborate with team members to achieve showroom goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Upsell additional products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently at the register. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or furniture store environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Can assemble furniture (not required). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role. Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus. Familiarity with computers and POS systems.
