As a Floral Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers with orders, completing transactions, answering emails and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a retail environment and have a passion for flowers. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the shop is well-presented and products are easily accessible. Operate cash registers accurately, processing transactions efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service. Assist in retail sales by promoting products and upselling when appropriate. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product features, and store policies to better serve customers. Help manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies as needed. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customers. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math is advantageous. Experience or knowledge in lawn care products is beneficial but not mandatory. A friendly demeanor with the ability to engage customers effectively, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
