In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. Your primary goal will be to create a welcoming environment that encourages sales and enhances the overall shopping experience. Duties As a Retail Sales Associate, your responsibilities will include: Engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Conducting product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively. Operating cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately, ensuring a smooth checkout process. Utilizing retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and promotions. Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked. Communicating effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations. Providing bilingual support to enhance customer interactions when necessary. Upholding phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone or in-store. Experience The ideal candidate will possess: Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong cash handling skills with familiarity in operating cash registers. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with diverse customers. A proactive attitude towards selling and achieving sales goals while providing exceptional customer service.
