Budtender The Cannabis Bar 221 Duval Street, Key West, FL 33040 Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and educating clients about our wide range of cannabis products. Your passion for cannabis and ability to communicate effectively will help create a welcoming environment for all customers, ensuring they leave with the right products to meet their needs. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs. Provide detailed product knowledge, including strain types, effects, and consumption methods. Upsell products by suggesting complementary items or higher-end options based on customer interests. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring that shelves are replenished as needed. Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on proper usage techniques. Supervise the sales floor during shifts to ensure compliance with store policies and procedures. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Uphold all legal regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in environments such as grocery stores or specialty shops. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when interacting with customers. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous. Experience in supervising staff or leading teams is a plus. A genuine interest in cannabis culture and products will enhance your ability to connect with customers effectively.
