We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate/ Gear Head to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will assist in maintaining the store’s appearance, managing inventory, and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Work in a laid back, fun environment and help our customer “Gear Up & Get Lost” Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. Manage transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS). Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential buyers. Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with inventory management. Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or a customer service role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Outdoor brand product knowledge or a desire and drive to learn Proficiency in phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Ability to learn quickly about products and services offered in the store. Experience with POS systems is an advantage but not required; training will be provided. A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products to enhance the customer experience. In addition to hourly, you’ll receive commission on your sales!
