Parts Counterperson Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Multitasking wholesale/retail parts sales
• Assisting customers in finding the appropriate parts for their vehicle
• Work with technicians to locate proper parts for the completion of vehicle maintenance
• Maintain parts department in a clean and organized manner
• Other duties as assigned

Parts Counterperson Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of retail parts automotive parts sales experience required
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-pace environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer proficiency required
• High school diploma or equivalent Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm plus occasional overtime

Parts Counterperson Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, type and use office equipment, talk and hear. The employee must be able to see color and at close and far distances and is required to frequently lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
