Job Description Our client, an American multinational mass media and entertainment company, is looking to fill the role of Sales Associate. If you are enthusiastic about helping customers to find just the right gift, or seeing eyes light up at the sight of their favorite character (s) this could be a great fit for you. Come work as part of a team where your mission is bringing joy to guests in an efficient and friendly manner. In this role you will provide top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided, and you will work a minimum of 2- 4-hour shifts throughout the scheduled theatrical showings. This position will be located on site in Schenectady, NY.
The dates of the showings are June 24th – July 3rd
This position pays $ 17.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests from all diverse backgrounds, answering questions and directing them to merchandise.
Manage accurate cashiering duties (entering prices, making change, and bagging merchandise.
Replenish and organize products to create visually appealing displays.
Ensure pricing is clearly visible to guests.
Lift and unpack boxes up to 40lbs.
Successfully complete mandatory training

Required Qualifications:

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Able to pick up and apply training while taking feedback in a positive manner.
Basic math skills.
Friendly, professional communication skills
Passion for interacting with Guests of all ages. Ability to work in a team environment while managing tasks within demanding environments.
Able to speak and interact with all ages and backgrounds of clientele.
Must be able to stand for multiple hours and lift boxes up to 40lbs. Retail/Service experience preferred but not essential.
