The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to engage with customers and provide them with an exceptional shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining the overall presentation of the store. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs. Engage customers in conversation to understand their preferences and recommend products accordingly. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively upsell items. Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory counts. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Uphold company policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer service standards. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. A knack for selling products through upselling techniques and understanding customer needs. Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer calls or inquiries when necessary. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and services offered in-store.
