This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, managing cash register transactions, and promoting products through effective upselling techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail sales, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, processing customer transactions. Assist in maintaining an organized and well-stocked store, ensuring products are readily available. Engage with customers to provide product information, answer questions, and assist with their shopping needs. Collaborate with team members to create an inviting shopping atmosphere. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and effectively. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and ensure accurate cash handling. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills to accurately process transactions and manage cash register operations. Experience with maintaining stock levels is a plus.
