Our flagship location in Tequesta, FL is seeking a Shop Associate — someone with a warm, can-do attitude and sharp attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, creative, and eager to grow with a small, dynamic team. From helping guests discover their new favorite pieces to capturing moments for our brand storytelling, you’ll be a vital part of Salt & Creek’s early team. What You’ll Do Create exceptional guest experiences : Greet and assist customers with warmth and enthusiasm, bringing the Salt & Creek story to life through product knowledge and thoughtful service. Support daily shop operations : Open and close the shop, keep the floor tidy and welcoming, and help ensure everything runs smoothly and on-brand. Manage inventory & back-of-house logistics : Receive deliveries, organize stock, and coordinate with our warehouse team to ensure products are well-presented and accessible. Visual merchandising support : Maintain store displays and assist with visual updates alongside our outsourced VM team—your eye for detail and design will be key. Content capture : Assist with styling and photographing in-store vignettes and new arrivals for social and marketing use, under the direction of the Head of Brand. Assist with reporting & tracking : Run basic sales reports and support inventory counts and shop performance tracking as needed. Event support : Participate in in-store activations and events that bring the Salt & Creek lifestyle to life for our local community.

Qualifications:

Shopify Social media Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Passion for interior decor, design, and creating memorable shopping experiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Who You Are You have 2+ years of experience in retail or hospitality , ideally in home, lifestyle, or fashion. You’re organized, proactive , and able to manage both front-of-house service and back-of-house logistics with ease. You have a keen eye for aesthetics and a genuine appreciation for interiors, design, and storytelling. You’re comfortable using (or learning) retail systems, POS, and inventory management tools. You’re a team player who’s excited to grow with a brand from the ground up—and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed.
