This role combines customer service, retail sales, technical knowledge, and light warehouse work in a friendly, fast-paced environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding customer service and build rapport with regular clients Conduct in-store water testing and interpret results using digital software Recommend appropriate chemical treatments and maintenance plans Educate customers on pool care, product usage, and equipment troubleshooting Ensure store shelves are stocked, organized, and clean Receive and check in product shipments; manage inventory as needed Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and balance cash drawers Support promotional efforts and store merchandising strategies Participate in training on new products and safety procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred Experience in retail or customer service is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn about water chemistry and pool equipment Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift Nice to
Have:
Familiarity with pool/spa products or prior experience in the pool industry Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) Forklift certification or warehouse experience (for larger stores)
