Civil Site Crew Member(Foremen, Operators, Laborers) Nova Land Creations, LLC Hudson, FL 34669 Job Summary We are seeking: Utility foremen, Operators, Tailmen, Hillmen, Pipe layers, and laborers. We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Site Crew members to join our expanding team in Civil Site work. The ideal candidate(s) will have a strong background in construction management and project coordination, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow the project plans and specifications. We are looking for multiple levels of experience and responsibilities will be commensurate with experience and pay. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications. Coordinate project schedules, resources, and information among team members and subcontractors. Review blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of project plans. Utilize project management software such as Contractor Foreman, Prolog, ProCore, and Bluebeam for documentation and tracking. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Facilitate communication between clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve any project-related concerns. Prepare and present project updates daily and weekly, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project budgets by tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability. Leading and assisting with strategic pursuits and marketing efforts for public sector projects primarily with local municipalities and the FDOT. Build new business while also managing existing relationships. Train, mentor, and assist with development of staff within the engineering team. Perform QA/QC tasks on projects as assigned Has overall responsibility for the profitability of his/her projects. Prepare forecast of workload for assigned staff. Qualifications
YOU MUST
Have extensive experience in underground utilities, to include the processes and codes for installations, etc., grading, reading blueprints and understanding elevations, shop drawings, submittals, etc. If you do not have the above, do not continue to read further. Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry. 4-6+ years of relevant experience
