Thrift Shop Team Lead Reports to:

Thrift Shop Manager Major Functions:

Assist in the management of the daily operations. Provide quality control of donations and merchandising of high-quality products that portray the shop in a manner consistent with local shops and boutiques.

Tuesday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm, off, (May be required to work occasional Sundays, with an alternate day off scheduled during the week.) Help ensure the store operates smoothly by collaborating with other team members on tasks such as inventory, customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Assist team members and volunteers to achieve daily tasks given by management in an encouraging manner. Assist in keeping track of stock levels for each department on the shop floor and report any inventory discrepancies or needs to the Thrift Store Manager or Assistant Manager. Work in partnership with the Assistant Manager in receiving incoming donations, sort and process merchandise, help with staging, creating space(s), refilling department(s), and open and close CASA’s Thrift Store when needed. Perform cashier duties as needed. Greet and assist customers. Follow and perform all store opening and closing procedures when necessary. Maintain merchandising and product organization of shop floor. Regularly rotate merchandise to ensure that items are displayed in a timely manner. Dress display mannequins and ensure mannequins are dressed according to season, trends, and store promotions. Be able to work independently or as a team member. Conduct returns and resolves conflict with customers and/or donors if management is unavailable. Oversee volunteers. Follow CASA’s policies and procedures. Contact the Thrift Shop Manager or Assistant Manager if unable to work the scheduled shift. Execute special projects and other duties as determined by the Thrift Shop Manager. Other related duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year experience in Retail Management (preferred) Agree to participate in all background checks. Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance to be annually verified. Knowledge of designer clothing Ability to multitask. Ability to work independently or as a team member. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Available on weekends. All employees of CASA are considered “essential” and as such may be required to be available to remain onsite and/or required to assist during emergencies and other critical times.
