Auto Parts Representative Requirements Previous experience researching, pricing and ordering parts in a new car dealership setting required, Kia or Hyundai experience preferred but not required Must have great reading skills, be detail-oriented, professional, organized, and able to multi-task with great customer service Ability to work efficiently in very busy Professional Parts Department Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time Auto Parts Counter Duties Look up parts for retail and wholesale parts customers Phone customers regarding special order parts Be up to date on Kia auto parts product information Assist walk-in customers in choosing necessary auto parts for their vehicles, suggest companion requirements and offer specials Provide auto parts price quotes and other information over the phone Determine availability on out-of-stock parts. Retrieve parts purchased from stock, return parts to stock as needed. Keep on top of back orders and return to vendors items. Issue credit for parts returned; ensure invoice/number is there to verify purchase and pricing. Follow all safety guidelines, policies and practices.
