Scuba Sales Associate Gaspar’s Dive Shop 2643 Placida Road, Englewood, FL 34224 We’re looking for someone to join our sales and scuba team! Above all, the most important requirement is a positive, friendly attitude. Must be 18 years or older. Must be an active scuba diver or willing to learn. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Customer relations and sales Building work orders at intake of customers equipment for repair/ service Help customers enroll in training courses Cash register duties Assist customers with equipment rentals Clean and maintain rental equipment from customer returns and class use Fill air and nitrox tanks Basic tank maintenance such as visual inspections Store opening and closing procedures Restocking sales floor from overstock Monitor daily booking platform Stay up to date on product knowledge of current and new inventory Conduct scuba and other water related activities/ courses Guide dives/ mate for charter boat Attend and assist with customer events and activities Assist in customer communication via emails, phone calls, etc. Provide the highest level of service to customers General custodial duties Stay up to date with new products/services Prerequisites Passion for hospitality and customer service Passion for diving Hard working and self-motivated Able to lift 40 lbs. or more Competent computer skills Problem solving, interpersonal and strong organizational skills Punctual and dependable Basic math skills for cash handling Great communicator with other team members and management Attention to detail Must be legally able to work in U.S Current driver’s license and own transportation Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly Positive and friendly attitude Self starter Time management skills Phone etiquette skills Must be an active scuba diver or willing to learn Benefits Discounts on scuba equipment/ keyperson deals On the job training Free scuba diving trips Free air fills Paid time off Paid liability insurance Holiday pay Benefits and salary depend on length of employment and increase over time.
