Job Overview We are looking for a Gun Store Associate who is knowledgeable, responsible, and passionate about firearms and cigars. This role involves assisting customers with purchases, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting our customization services. Key Responsibilities Assist customers with firearms, accessories, and cigar purchases Perform background checks and complete ATF-required documentation Ensure all sales and procedures follow local, state, and federal laws Provide information and intake for Cerakote and gun customization services Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and cigar humidor Receive, restock, and inventory merchandise accurately Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions Stay informed on product offerings, promotions, and firearm/cigar trends Represent Smoking Gunz Customs with professionalism and integrity Qualifications Must be 21 years or older High school diploma or equivalent required Previous retail or firearms-related experience preferred Working knowledge of firearms, gun safety, and cigar products Ability to legally possess and handle firearms Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer proficiency (POS, inventory systems) Familiarity with Cerakote customization is a plus Additional Information Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Weekend and holiday availability may be required Background check required in accordance with firearms regulations Visit our website at www.smokingunzcustoms.com to learn more about our gun store.
