Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash with care. Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure a neat presentation. Utilize the POS system efficiently to manage sales and inventory. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in grocery store settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
