Job Overview We are looking for a Product Pro Sales Associate to join our team who has at least 3 years of construction experience in a hardware/sales role, can provide exceptional customer service, has knowledge to assist contractors and homeowners in choosing the correct product for their job, and works as a team to maintain the high quality and visual standards of our store and the products we sell. Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in a friendly manner
• Remain knowledgeable about the products we sell
• Assist customers in the store and on the phone to help locate products and provide suggestions or alternate products
• Assist customers in selecting the correct products for Special Orders. Place orders with the vendor, enter the order in the POS, collect any deposit due, follow through with receiving the product and communicate with the customer on the status of their order.
• Accurately record sales in the point-of-sale (POS) system according to company policies and procedures
• Efficiently manage collecting payments and processing customer refunds in the POS
• Perform open/close store duties as required
• Regularly check inventory levels, restock shelves and order inventory
• Keep all equipment cleaned, stocked and ready for use
• Unload delivery trucks
• Meet company requirements for quality, safety, positive behavior, productivity, attendance and any overtime as needed
• Help to keep workspace and sales area safe, clean, organized, in compliance with OSHA
• Assist with inventory counts
• Suggest ways to improve workflows and sales
• Perform any other tasks as needed. Knowledge
• At least 3 years’ construction experience in hardware sales
• Knowledge of stainless steel hardware, vinyl and cable railing a plus
• Ability to review plans and customer supplied specifications
• Basic Computer Skills required
• Outlook 365 (E-Mail, Word & Excel)
• QuickBooks Software knowledge a plus Qualifications
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues
• Strong attention to detail, quality and safety
• Friendly, motivated, presenting customers with a professional appearance
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds to stock and retrieve stock from shelves
• Must be able to remain on your feet for sustained periods of time.
• Time management skills (use idle time wisely to maintain productivity)
• Consistent attendance record
• Must be able to use a scale
• Must be able to operate saws to cut thread-rod
• Must be able to operate a fork-lift Pay Range Hourly between $19 to $24 per hour, based upon experience Workweek Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
