Firehouse Subs Crew Member S&S Subs 4921 Riverside Dr, Macon, GA 31210 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will assist with various tasks including cash handling, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in the front of house area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide prompt service to enhance their dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food items meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in a grocery store, restaurant, café, or similar food service environment is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
