As a part time Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by assisting them with their dance needs and ensuring a smooth transaction process. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain an organized and clean sales floor, ensuring that products are well-stocked and displayed effectively. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing, discounts, and product availability. Demonstrate effective communication skills while interacting with customers over the phone and in person. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Receiving and processing merchandise Requirements Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required. Knowledge in dance is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of retail math concepts to assist with pricing and calculations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
