Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31406 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with various inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation at the counter. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries or purchases. Operate the cash register, handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized counter area to enhance customer experience. Utilize Excel for inventory management and sales tracking as necessary. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure clarity in transactions. Assist in vehicle maintenance scheduling and record keeping when required. Support sales management efforts by promoting products and services to customers. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance requests if applicable. Multilingual candidates are encouraged to assist diverse customer bases effectively. Experience Previous experience in cash handling is preferred, demonstrating accuracy and reliability. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance processes is a plus but not mandatory. Strong mathematical skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience with sales management or retail environments is beneficial. Proficiency in using cash registers and basic computer applications, including Excel, is essential.
