Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases. Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Effectively communicate product information to help customers make informed decisions. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support. Skills Strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively. Proven customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience. Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Ability to perform product demos confidently to showcase merchandise. Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products when appropriate.
