Job Summary As an Sales Associate & Van Driver at Vulcan Needles, you’ll help drive our success by excelling in tasks from product knowledge to customer service to logistics & inventory management. You are expected to work independently in navigating your daily responsibilities accurately and efficiently. This is not a “If you have time to lean, you have time to clean” type of place. We do not waste your time, or ours, with mindless activities. You are expected to understand all facets of the business and be able to contribute across all of them. Starting up to $15 an hour based on previous job experience. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service across retail channels. Accurately receive and store incoming inventory shipments. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks. Inventory and reload vans each morning. Drive two van routes per week selling supplies through our mobile stores. Track and schedule vehicle maintenance. Qualifications A clean driving record with no insurance points is required. Previous retail, restaurant, or other direct customer service experience is a big plus. Ability to think and work independently while following established procedures and methods. Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle heavy objects up to 50 pounds. Basic computer skills, including data entry and inventory tracking. Forklift certification is a plus. An interest in tattoos or getting tattooed.
