What you’ll bedoing…As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you’ll havethe opportunity to grow your career with a team focused onunlocking your full potential and sales success within one of ourretail stores. Here’s what you can expect: Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edgetechnology, and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizonnetwork. Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections andasking the right questions. Position product insights and solution recommendations toprovide customers with a complete top-down sales solution. Close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfillcustomer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions. Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training andup-skill in operational functions across merchandising andinventory. Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound callsand sending text messages to current Verizon customers who areinterested in our products and services. Opportunities to engage with the community outside of the storeto expand your loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizonsponsored events.
We’re hiring immediately! This isn’t your typicalentry-level retail position. Whether you’re just starting out orhave years of sales experience, you can earn $16.00 to $21.00 perhour in base pay, plus up to $16,000 a year in individual-basedcommissions if you hit all your sales goals. Planning to go aboveand beyond? With our commission program, the opportunities areunlimited for employees who exceed their sales goals. Topperformers could make an extra $14,500 or more in individual-basedcommissions, giving you the chance to earn a total of $65,000+ to$73,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked,and performance.

What we’re looking for…You’llneed to have: High school diploma or GED. One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstratedthrough work experience and/or military experience. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you’llknow your schedule four weeks in advance). Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income,typically during the summer months, November through December,and/or during peak vacation periods. Even better if you have one ormore of the following: Experience working in a commission-based environment. Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers tofind solutions. Customer service experience.
