Non-Exempt Entry Level Position Purpose:
The Taproom Staff member is an essential part of our team, responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all customers. This role involves working collaboratively with colleagues, educating customers about our taproom and brewery, and delivering exceptional customer service. Duties and Responsibilities 1.
Teamwork, Leadership, and Communication:
Collaborate effectively with fellow staff members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment. Demonstrate leadership qualities by taking the initiative and providing support to team members. Communicate clearly and professionally with both colleagues and customers to ensure a seamless taproom experience. 2.
Taproom and CCBC Education:
Acquire in-depth knowledge about what our taproom offers, including the different beers and their brewing processes. Educate customers about our brewery, sharing interesting and relevant information to enhance their experience. Stay updated on new products and promotions to provide accurate and engaging information to customers. Serve beer in appropriate glassware, maintaining the correct size and foam level. Perform quality checks before serving beer to guests, identifying and addressing any defects, and notifying the shift lead if necessary. Capable of performing bartending, hosting, and bar backing duties, including responsible alcohol service, using POS systems, restocking, and maintaining cleanliness. 3. Hospitality –
Customer Service and Attitude:
Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly and positive attitude. Greet customers warmly, assist with their inquiries, and guide them through our beer selections. Handle customer feedback and concerns professionally, ensuring a satisfying resolution. Maintain a clean and inviting taproom environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
