As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for promoting our products, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring the store is well-maintained and inviting. Duties Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries. Effectively communicating available products and services, enhancing customer understanding and engagement. Utilize upselling techniques to encourage additional purchases, contributing to overall sales goals. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling cash register duties. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively communicate with customers. Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and ensure accurate cash handling. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math applications. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store. Capable of safely and effectively lifting upwards of 50lbs.
