The Company:

The Sipping Plant is the most unique night out in Atlanta! We teach our customers how to create custom succulent terrariums or string art while they enjoy BYOB drinks with friends and family! We are well-known for our friendly, knowledgeable instructors and great customer service!

The Position :

We’re looking for Instructors to lead our craft classes and foster a fun, friendly and creative vibe for our guests! We offer competitive base pay + personal tips!

Expected Hours:

This is a Part-Time position where hours vary based on the needs of the business. You can expect 10-25 hours per week. The position requires night (6pm-10pm) and weekend work.

Requirements:

Must be 21+ years old. Must be able to pass a background check. Must have experience with public speaking. Must have experience in customer service. Must have retail sales experience. Must have a high school diploma. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to read, write and perform basic math functions. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds. Must be able to speak English fluently. Must be able to give clear verbal instructions. Must be dependable and consistently on time. Must be able to work flexible hours as needed. Must be able to work weekend days and some week nights. Horticultural knowledge a plus. Gardening hobbyist a plus. Crafting hobbyist a plus. Art background a plus.

Responsibilities:

Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service Operating online booking system and managing financial transactions Achieving established goals Directing customers to merchandise within the store Increasing in-store sales Having a superior product knowledge on all offered crafts and materials Maintaining a clean and orderly appearance throughout the store Cleaning the store and restocking materials after classes and during weekly studio reset shifts Caring for, unpacking deliveries of, restocking, and maintaining live plant inventory Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers Cross-selling/Up-selling products to increase purchase amounts Communicating instructions clearly and effectively to many different types of people Taking charge of the room and keeping large groups on task/on schedule Being a team player and working well in small groups Maintaining a positive and enthusiastic energy throughout difficult transactions or long class days

The Location:
