- We are seeking a high-performing, self-motivated Senior Sales Support Representative (Sr.
SSR) to serve as a strategic partner to the Sales organization and a subject-matter leader within the Service department. This role extends beyond traditional sales support functions—serving as a trusted advisor, escalation point, and process owner for proposal development and quoting operations. The Sr. SSR will drive high-value deliverables that directly impact revenue growth and client retention by ensuring excellence, consistency, and accuracy in all proposals and RFP submissions. The ideal candidate is a technical expert in quoting and benefits analysis, a skilled communicator, and a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments. This role demands a high level of autonomy, decision-making capability, and a demonstrated ability to lead through influence across departments and carrier partners. The Sr. SSR is integral to process improvement, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the Sales team is supported with strategic, timely, and consultative service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Primary Responsibilities – Proposal Development & Management
- + Manage the end-to-end RFP process, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality proposal submissions.
+ Use quoting platforms and tools to pull rates and benefit information and format data into clear, professional proposals. + Work directly with carrier partners to request and secure underwritten quotes, manage follow-ups, and interpret quoting nuances. + Be a subject-matter expert (SME) for internal and external teams; answer questions related to quoting, carrier options, and benefit comparisons. + Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated or complex quoting issues, ensuring they are resolved with accuracy and urgency. + Create, format, and maintain proposal documents that align with company branding, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards. + Collaborate with sales team members to understand client needs and customize proposal content accordingly. + Maintain exceptional attention to detail when compiling, analyzing, and presenting benefit data and pricing structures. + Leverage advanced Excel skills for rate modeling, comparisons, and verifying data integrity across proposals. + Prioritize and manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in high-volume or deadline-driven situations. + Demonstrate strong written communication and customer service in interactions with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Secondary Responsibilities – Sales Operations Support
- + Support the Sales team with administrative and operational tasks, including: + Creating and updating spreadsheets with detailed benefit information.
+ Pulling and organizing Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) documents. + Assembling professional and branded benefit booklets and sales packets. + Maintaining accuracy in Salesforce CRM, including updating documents, tracking opportunities, and ensuring data integrity. + Respond to a dynamic queue of sales support requests, handling each with high attention to detail, timeliness, and professionalism. + Assist in preparing client-facing presentations, internal sales documents, and communications. + Ensure proposal and sales process documentation is organized, version-controlled, and accessible. + Communicate clearly and professionally in all formats—written, verbal, and visual—tailored to the audience. + Leverage CRM and quoting tools to support overall sales process efficiency and visibility.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
