Retail Associate with Cash Handling Expertise Georgia Fitness Equipment Roswell, GA 30076 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will play a vital role in driving sales and maintaining the store’s overall appearance and organization. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Engage in effective selling techniques, including upselling and cross-selling products. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain stock levels by assisting with inventory management, restocking shelves, and organizing merchandise displays. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone. Utilize retail math skills to manage sales transactions and provide accurate change to customers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the sales floor and stock areas. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong selling skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer groups. Proficient in cash handling and basic retail math skills. Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to achieve individual sales goals. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining stock levels and store presentation.
