OVERVIEW
- The Front Gate Attendant is the first point of contact for most visitors to Lanier Islands. They work with the Front Office team and are responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, monitoring guest access, operating the entrance kiosks, and collecting and accurately reporting fees and traffic. They may also direct guests to proper destinations.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests with a smile
- Give accurate directions to guests
- Collect gate fees according to the fee schedule
- Maintain effective communications with public safety officers, Safe Harbor, and other island personnel
- Maintain radio, key, dispatch logs, and incident log
- Ensure cleanliness of front gate offices
- Be an ambassador for the resort and ALL its guests. Recognize that the front gate is the first point of contact on the resort and the team establishes the welcome experience

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience working preferred but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to comprehend and communicate either verbal in English and non-verbal methods
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English and respond in writing
- Ability to read and interpret general business document or governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, manager and associates.
