The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in machining and fabrication, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Responsibilities Lead the activities in the saw shop to ensure smooth operations. Monitor production processes and workflows to meet quality and efficiency standards. Train new employees on safety protocols, equipment operation, and best practices. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Implement improvements in processes and workflows to enhance productivity. Collaborate with management to develop schedules and assign tasks based on workload. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency in using Industrial Saws. Ability to read blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Excellent communication skills to lead a diverse team effectively. Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends or overtime if required. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
