Cashier/Sales Associate Edgewater Lumber and Building Supplies 6166 Highway 411 N, Chatsworth, GA 30705 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team at Edgewater Lumber. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within the store, as well as providing building and material knowledge. This position is full time, Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm. Part time negotiable. Duties Greet customers, provide them with necessary information and assistance. Check out walk-ins/take phone orders Handle incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate staff members or take messages as needed. Put up inventory as it is received Update price tags as needed Pull hardware for deliveries/pickups Clean hardware department/desk area. Complete closing/opening responsibilities Skills Experience in building supplies, construction environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with software systems such as Microsoft. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and staff. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting, as well as problem solving. Ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
