Job Description:

As a Retail Design Associate at our Yardbird outdoor furnitureshowroom, you’ll provide excellent customer service and meet salesquotas for our business. You’ll identify customer needs, answerquestions regarding our product and services and make professionalrecommendations. Our sales approach is professional, effortless,and relaxed. Ultimately, you’ll ensure that customers leave ourstore satisfied with their experience. This role takes place at a Yardbird premium outdoor furnitureshowroom. This standalone store is separate from Best Buy’s largerretail locations. What you’ll do Greet all customers and be friendly and helpful. Make the bestfirst impression Serve as an expert on all things patio furniture by providingaccurate, up-to-date information to our customers including productfeatures, pricing, delivery, warranties and returns Process orders in person and over the phone Monitor inventory levels and be aware of items with low or noinventory Follow up with potential customers via telephone and email andonline chat function Occasionally assist at our trade shows, inviting people to ourboothBasic qualifications Ability to work successfully as part of a teamPreferredqualifications 1 year of sales, customer service or retail experience Hands-on experience with POS transactions Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends andholidays Expert communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in high-pressure situations Excellent organizational and time management skillsWhat’s in itfor you We’re committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
