Part Time Sales Associate Support in Abusive Family Emergencies, Inc 35 Bonny Hills Dr, Young Harris, GA 30582 Cross-trains and works in all areas of the stores as needed. • Assists in preparing the donation receiving area to evaluate and accept donations; closes and secures same area and donated items at end of day. Organizes and maintains donation areas and storage areas throughout the day. • Ensures quality of inventory by adhering to merchandise standards and preventing damage to donated goods. Ensures donation paperwork and donor receipts are completed, accurate, and secured. Cleans, prices, and displays merchandise in accordance with procedures. Arranges merchandise displays throughout the thrift store as assigned. Operates cash register; assists with sales transactions and with the reconciliation of daily cash receipts Completes computer data entry and other computer transactions as needed. Assists in maintaining a clean, attractive and safe work environment throughout the store. Participates in store special events and sales as scheduled. Answers phone and appropriately refers callers
