• The Store Room Clerk will ensure that there is an adequate and appropriate flow of materials and equipment to support the timely and cost-effective completion of projects and day-to-day operations.

Assists Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator with maintaining spare parts warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a Forklift on a daily basis Receive and inspect orders upon arrival to ensure the correct quality and quantity Record Receipts in iMaintenance Inventory System Notify employees when items arrive and deliver to specified location on campus Assist Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator with cycle counts, organization of spare parts, and the preparation & shipping of any items Handle weekly delivery of cores and quarterly delivery of core plugs Report any pending delivery delays to management immediately Resolve problems to speed up delivery of orders Maintain constant contact with vendors and shipping companies while deliveries are in route Monitor inventory of supplies for different jobs or sites Arrange the movement of material between locations on campus Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors Keep accurate records along with proper housekeeping Additional duties as assigned by management EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma, some college preferred Candidates are preferred who offer the following: Two years of experience in an industrial manufacturing or construction environment Previous forklift experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• English, negotiation skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, manuals, regulations, and codes Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, contractors, employees, and outside officials Clear, concise oral and written communication skills

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, volume, and net present value.

Able to apply concepts of algebra and geometry along with basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing)

REASONING ABILITY

• Highly organized and motivated, ability to multi-task, self-starter, must work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines for a lean “24-7” environment Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Ability to gather information and perform root cause analysis and problem solving Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) SAP and experience with Inventory Management Systems a plus

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Forklift License or ability to obtain one

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes of airborne particles The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
