Boutique Associate Soho Boutique Salon 7731 Perkins Rd,, Baton Rouge, LA 70810 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will assist with sales, manage inventory, and contribute to a dynamic retail environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering inquiries. Process transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system, ensuring proper cash handling practices. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging merchandise effectively. Engage with customers to promote products through upselling and cross-selling techniques. Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies while maintaining customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management, ensuring accuracy in retail math applications. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong cash handling skills with familiarity in operating cash registers and POS systems. Basic math skills to facilitate accurate transactions and inventory counts. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A proactive attitude towards learning about products and contributing to team success.
