HVAC Full Job Description Qualifications:

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to prepare and analyze data. Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce. Beginner to intermediate user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Ability to learn new software quickly and accurately. Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service skills. Must have the ability to interact with sales teams, customers and other stakeholders. Strong organizational skills required. Must be very detailed and comfortable with multi-tasking.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of HVAC, Counter Sales or other related industry experience; or Associates Degree with 1+ year of HVAC, Counter Sales or other related industry experience.

Requirements:

Sales Support is responsible for supporting Acme Refrigeration TM’s and Branches by preparing bids for projects, special quotes (when standard pricing is not sufficient), and price sheets. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing support after the sale by coordinating shipping and delivery schedules to ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Quote and Proposal Support

  • Assist sales teams in preparing quotes, proposals and sales packages including product specifications, pricing and lead times. Product Knowledge
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of HVAC products, including equipment, accessories and applications. Use this knowledge to provide accurate and up to date product information to sales teams. Order Management
  • Process and manage sales orders including verifying customer information, product availability and pricing. When special orders are involved, track PO’s to ensure completeness of orders and on time delivery. Communicate back to sales team when there are deviations from expected pricing and/or lead times. Sales Data Analysis
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide insight to sales team and management. Inventory Analysis
  • report on inventory levels compared to sales and make suggestions on stocking codes and on hand quantities to support additional sales and revenue.

Other duties and ad hoc reporting as requested. In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.
