POSITION SUMMARY

The Store Consultant consistently delivers apositive customer experience to all customers, utilizingconsultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggestalternatives and provide solutions. This customer service focusedteam member is knowledgeable in all areas of the Store’s business,including print, signs & graphics, and shipping. They will beresponsible for taking orders, coordinating activities in theStore, providing pricing and product information, and recommendingappropriate FedEx Office products and services. The StoreConsultant will operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment,move boxes and equipment, stock materials, manage the productionqueue and output, manage complex projects, manage retail supply,and complete assigned tasks based on priority.

GENERAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

: (This is a representative list of the generalduties the position may be asked to perform, and is not intended tobe all-inclusive) People Follows instructions of supervisors andassists other team members in performing store functions Assists inthe training of store team members Service Demonstratesconsultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand eachcustomer’s individualized need Provides customer expertise inprinting, signs and graphics and shipping product lines and canrecommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services Providesan outstanding customer service experience by using consultativeskills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and findsolutions to meet customer needs Ensures all customer problems areresolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer Takescomplex customer orders using order systems and provides accuratepricing information Assembles parcels and prepares goods forshipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items intoshipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels toparcels Sets up and operates printing, binding, and other relatedequipment using customer supplied original media and documentsMaintains a safe, clean and orderly retail Store Profit Ensuresconfidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents,media, and packages Processes financial transactions using a Pointof Sale terminal (POS),including handling cash and making changeCleans, repairs, and stocks all r etail store printing and shippingequipment and supplies to provide optimal performance andavailability Stays current on retail Store merchandising materialsand ensures proper display of all retail area product and signageTakes preemptive action to prevent errors and waste Completesrequired financial paperwork and may assist with financialreporting including daily sales, close-outs and bank depositsFollows FedEx Office standard operating procedures as well asadhering to legal, HR, safety , customer service and securitypolicies and procedures Self-Management Performs multiple tasks atthe same time Looks for opportunities to improve knowledge andskills within the retail Store Able to operate with minimalsupervision Adheres to all FedEx Office team member and retailstore standards, as outlined in the team member handbook All otherduties as needed or required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ANDREQUIREMENTS

: High school diploma or equivalent education 6 monthsof specialized experience Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills For new hires, must meet all FedEx Officeemployment qualifications in force at time of hiring For currentFedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for theposition and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team MemberHandbook
