St. Vincent de Paul Hammond Store Keyholder Associate Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge 824 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401 Come join the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores and help support the many vital programs that assists the poor in our community. Responsibilities Provides a sincere, warm, friendly, and helpful atmosphere in filling the needs of the customer. Maintains a clean and litter free checkout area and assist other store personnel in the general upkeep of the store. Assists the Store Manager/Supervisor in the pricing, stocking, and displaying the merchandise. Assumes the responsibility of total store operation when acting as manager on duty. Handles merchandise with care from checking out to bagging process. Ensures accurate handling of voucher, cash, check and charge transactions and accurate documentation of all appropriate paperwork. Performs other related duties assigned by the Store Manager/Assistant Manager/Supervisor. Greet and direct customers. Qualifications Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role. Must be able to open and close the store. Experience with POS Must be able to work a flexible schedule on short notice, including days, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to stand for periods of time and lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must present a positive image of the company and follow safety policies High school degree or equivalent
